strategic fund
A new Network "Strategic Fund", earmarked to provide "top-up" funding
for research projects with strong commercial potential facilitates the
acceleration of promising research developments and serves as seed funding
for Network commercial ventures.
Financial returns to the Network come through equity partnerships, sharing
in royalties, and new R&D; funding associated with the new ventures.
