The Canadian Genetic Diseases Network provides a custom
monoclonal antibody service for members, through Dr. John
Wilkins at the University of Manitoba.

Key Services:
- Immunoprobe/monoclonal
antibody generation
- The Wilken’s lab
has extensive experience in making monoclonal
antibodies.
- The researcher must provide
sufficient antigen (e.g. KLH peptide, fusion protein)
for immunising and appropriate antigen (e.g. BSA
peptide) for screening.
- We will provide post-injection
serum samples from mice before a fusion is done.

- Production of large
(1-3L) quantities of antibody containing serum free
supernatant, antibody isotyping, purification of antibodies
and biotinylating antibodies
- Project planning
and design
- Customers will receive advice
on how to design a strategy for screening and
selecting hybridomas
