Provides advanced microarray analysis. Facility will develop novel analytical methods as well as quality control and data analysis protocols.

Services include:

• consultation with clients to discuss experimental design and data analysis of Affymetrix GeneChip� arrays
• statistical analyses provided to the user in various reports, tables, graphs, etc
• a web-based platform to allow users to securely look at all their data (including RNA and probe profiles and chip data) and to perform basic comparisons between samples using a number of on-line tools
• a gene annotation tool will soon be online to allow analyses based on functional classes
• training will be available, to allow trainees to come to Montreal to participate in analysis
