The CGDN Transcribed Sequence Core offers
essential services to research scientists. All projects are
set up as collaborations. Interested parties may be asked
to submit genomic maps, a profile of ESTs in the known region,
a status report for ongoing projects that aim to minimize
the genetic interval needed to search for your candidate gene,
and genomic clones for analysis.
Key Services Through Collaboration:
- Capture of transcribed
sequences from genomic clones
- Ideal for trapping
cDNAs from BACs, PACs, and cosmids
- cDNA library screening
