Often in a research lab there comes a time when additional skills or expertise may be required to solve a particular problem or expedite an experiment. Likewise, one research group may be particularly strong in a new technology or emerging field. With the help of CGDN travel subsidies, members from one lab can visit another and share their expertise with their hosts while learning new technologies to bring back to their own team. These short-term exchanges between provide unique training opportunities and encourage collaboration among CGDN members.
