A continuing position is available for a Research Assistant with experience in generating transgenic and/or knock-out mice. Qualified candidates will hold a graduate degree or have equivalent experience in a research laboratory. You are skilled in microsurgical techniques in mice, microinjection of ES cells into blastocysts, intrauterine transfer, as well as animal husbandry, record keeping, PCR and Southern genotyping, cell culture, molecular biological techniques, possess initiative and have the ability to work independently. You will work as part of a larger team and fully participate in both the design and conduct of experiments. A highly competitive package of salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
